Background

Calom was founded in 2008 and develops multimedia integration platforms. Our software aggregates existing multimedia content already available on the internet and delivers it in a user friendly manner to viewer’s TV sets.

Adrian Skehill (CEO)

Adrian Skehill has spent 15 years in the IT industry. Prior to founding Calom, Adrian worked in various roles within IONA Technologies (now Progress). Most recently he was the Technical Lead for IONA’s User Interface development group. In this capacity, he grew the UI team from 2 to 14 people spread across 3 development sites in Beijing, Dublin and Boston. Prior to this he worked in IONA’s Professional Services and Customer Services group providing consultancy, training and support to IONA’s customers. He obtained his honours degree in Computer Engineering from University of Limerick in 1995 and his MSc (Research) from DCU in 1999.

David Conde (CTO)

David Conde joined Calom in April 2009 and has played an active role in developing iPIC since Calom was founded. He graduated from Tipperary Institute with a BSc, Software Development in 2006. Prior to joining Calom David spent three and a half years working at IONA Technologies in both Customer Services and Engineering roles. His broad range of technical knowledge spans many different areas including telecommunications systems, middleware, web development and cloud computing technologies.
